Catwings Painted

I finally got around to painting this thing. I had difficulty deciding on a colour- I wanted a tabby like the cats in the series, but tabbies come in alot of different colours! This is far from perfect, but not bad for my first painted sculpture. It didn't take nearly as long to paint as it did to sculpt . I'm still debating whether I should pick up some more clay and take another stab at sculpting- it will depend on how bored I get . Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of sace to put these things, so I'll have to restrain myself.

All in all, I'm pleased with this. It's free-standing, though not as stable as I'd like, it tips over easily. Oh well, live and learn I guess. The unpainted version is here: [link]
